Replant Calculator<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Determining whether or not to replant can be stressful. Beck’s precision ag platform, FARMserver\u00ae, aims to remove emotion from decision-making by providing our users with a Replant Calculator tool. On the FARMserver website, this tool can be found under “Field Focus” by adding a scouting note to a marker or an area of interest that has been drawn
onto the field.<\/p>\n\n\n

Across the top row, you will enter your planting date, observed stand count, and original yield goal; on the bottom, you will enter your expected replant date, planned stand count, and new yield goal. This information will be used to formulate yield estimates for your current stand count and yield estimates if you decide to replant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding numbers to the replant considerations can help mitigate the emotional response to this decision. This information can also be useful when having a conversation about replanting with your Beck\u2019s dealer, seed advisor, or agronomist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding Notification Recipients<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

While replanting is a decision best made by the lead operator, other employees or trusted advisors on the farm may also need access to field-specific information. Additional notification recipients do not need their own FARMserver account to receive notifications. In the “Notifications” tab on the website, additional recipients can be easily added to alerts like weather, growth stage, and Ready2Plant\u2122.<\/p>\n\n\n

Selecting the \u201cAdd or Edit Recipient\u201d link to the right of each notification type will allow you to add additional email addresses and cell phone numbers to the list of people who will receive reports and alerts regarding fields in your operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
